Tensions are on the rise within families as a result of debt?

Debt problems and financial crises within the heart of thousands of British families is causing a great deal of anonymity says the Yorkshire banks. In fact figures suggest as many as one million families are being torn apart as a result of the mounting pressures instigated by the recession.

The effects of the recession, that has been officially declared over, is causing whiplash amongst families as children in their early teens are having to move out to prevent further turmoil occurring.

Steve Raid, Yorkshire banks director, stated "There's no question that financial concerns create stress in family relationships. It's important that people understand that help is available and that the sooner they seek it out the better.”

He continued, "Hiding from the possibilities only increases the stress at home and the likelihood of the situation will get worse."
